The AL-KO Safety-Ball supplements the AL-KO anti-theft devices on the trailer coupling when stationary.
The safety device made of hard plastic goes into the ball coupling when it is uncoupled and prevents a ball head from being picked up there - and thus prevents unauthorised coupling.
Even professional thieves with smaller hitching devices or hooks cannot couple in this way. However, the Safety Ball is only effective if it is used together with another anti-theft device - such as the Safety Compact - on the coupling.
Safety
In combination with an anti-theft device, the Safety Ball is protected against quick removal. The unauthorised insertion of a hook or a towing vehicle ball that has been twisted off is almost impossible.
The Safety Ball is universally suitable for all 50 mm couplings - i.e. the standard ball coupling in Germany.
