If, for example, the dial of the old remote control was still orange (see picture below), a new control box must always be ordered as well. Otherwise, the new remote control can no longer communicate with the old, larger classic control box.

In order to sync a new remote, you must reset the remote by pressing the auto-engage button and power button for 10 seconds, after this the remote should turn off, when turned back on it should be solid red.
Then you have to pressin the reset button on the control box (located in the red led in the control box).
When this ispressed in it will start flashing.
Then on the remote, simply hold down the two arrows either side of the auto-engae button for 5 seconds.
 
The remote should then connect!
