Gas hoses

Gas hoses are subject to strict quality requirements. For this reason, you will find many different types of gas hoses in the cara-tech-24 range, but only from well-known manufacturers - such as Truma or GOK.


For example, do you need to replace the gas hose in your caravan or motor home?
GOK gas hoses or Truma gas hoses have a tag on them that tells you how long they are recommended for use, usually 10 years. Then you should basically think about replacing the gas hose anyway, because above all the rubber loses elasticity and can become cracked or porous.

Gas hoses, gas regulators and everything to do with gas that is installed in the vehicle must be checked every 2 years by a specialist.

This is the so-called gas test, which you can have carried out at TÜV, Dekra, FLUS or other testing institutes as part of other regular inspections.

LPG gas hoses

The "black" gas hoses are high-pressure hoses for fixed installations for tank gas - i.e. LPG or autogas. These hoses are subject to a stricter standard and form a special group of gas hoses here. At cara-tech-24, we have therefore marked these gas hoses with the abbreviation LPG in their names.
