So it is not surprising that there is always a reason to upgrade certain things.
After all, the travelling condominium is always adapting to changing life and family circumstances.
Whether it is the sportsman who attaches importance to adapting his storage space in the converted van more skilfully to his needs.
Or whether it's the clever do-it-yourself caravan owner who wants to make room for a larger refrigerator with compressor technology to quickly cool down his drinks supply in the hot south on the Adriatic.

There is always something to do

Installing a heating system is not an insurmountable task, even for non-professionals, unless you want underfloor heating. The Truma Combi heaters come almost ready to plug in and can then easily replace an old, ageing heater.

The components are precisely matched to each other, so old water pipes can easily be replaced with new ones. All hoses for this are colour-coded and the connectors allow branches to be made as desired or additional taps to be connected.

Battery technology

If the caravan is to be operated self-sufficiently or even if a manoeuvring aid is to be installed, it is important to find the right battery.
The largest and most powerful battery is not always the right choice.
And surely some campers have been annoyed when their battery suddenly runs out of power and refuses to drive the Mover.
In the meantime, LiFePO4batteries have firmly arrived in camper van battery technology!
They are unbeatable in terms of power consumption and weight savings and are permanently replacing the older AGM batteries, which can no longer keep up. This means that caravans can now also be operated with Movers, where this was previously no longer possible due to weight reasons.
Once installed in the caravan, it quickly becomes possible to use the battery for all other consumers:
For example, the latest generation of compressor refrigerators can easily be operated on 12 volts, as can all the lighting or the beloved TV set.
The battery as a central supply source is therefore the first step towards self-sufficient camping.
