The indispensable electric air pump
The probably most important accessories besides wearing items such as pegs for the most different soils - whether hard on rock, whether soft in sand - are not least the electric air pumps for air tents.
The fast and effortless inflation of the tubes or the air rods of inflatable tents is one of the advantages of electric pumps.
They also provide valuable assistance when inflating swimming pools, SUPs, inflatable boats, air mattresses, bathing islands or even air beds, making them indispensable helpers in everyday camping and sports life.
Which pump for which purpose?
Electric air pumps therefore require either the 12 volt socket of a cigarette lighter, a 230 volt power connection or a built-in rechargeable battery as an energy source.
Very good pumps can therefore do everything and are also quiet in operation and not too heavy in transport.
We always recommend the use of pumps with automatic pressure monitoring, especially with regard to air tents or the pressure-sensitive hoses of an inflatable boat.
This monitoring is sometimes also offered for very inexpensive pumps, but then no longer works because of the high air volumes in tents, boats or air beds. Such cheap pumps must therefore never be used for the sensitive hoses of an air tent.
Our Scoprega pumps, on the other hand, are specialists in inflating tents:
The required pressure can simply be set on the large display and the pump switches itself off reliably when this pressure is reached.
This makes pitching the tent child's play, not a sweaty exercise with the hand pump.
The Scoprega pumps have such good rechargeable batteries built directly into the housing that they can even be used to erect a large awning with air rods 7 times, far away from any power source!
Furthermore, good pumps are equipped with as many adapters, attachment rings and nozzle sets as possible right from the start.
Well packed in a transport bag, adapters for power sources for operation or recharging the battery are always included and allow a wide range of use - sometimes at the tent, sometimes on the boat or quite profan: at home.

The range of useful accessories for camping with an air tent or pole tent knows no bounds. For our permanent campers with a fixed seasonal pitch on the camping site, we also offer the optional free-standing carport in addition to the all-season tents, so that even the caravan remains mobile, even though the decision to camp permanently had actually already been made. The caravan can therefore leave its sheltered domicile under the protective roof on the tent at any time or move back in after returning home from a spontaneous holiday.
