Gas installation in camping vehicles (motorhome, caravan and outdoor)

From the gas cylinder to the open flame on the gas cooker: This gas route via pipe and hose installation can also be easily planned by DIY enthusiasts.
 
The first step is to decide which pipe cross-section should be used.

 
After all, not every mobile camping vehicle is the same and some are equipped with many appliances - such as a gas cooker, fridge, heater, barbecue, etc.
The question must therefore be clarified as to whether 8 or 10 mm pipe diameter should be used:

 
For 50 mbar gas systems, the diameter for gas pipes, hoses and all connecting parts is usually 8 mm.

 
However, modern vehicles today almost always have a 30 mbar system installed.

 
At a lower operating pressure of 30 mbar, however, it makes sense to increase the gas volume up to the distribution blocks in order to ensure a sufficient and constant supply to the individual consumers.
In this case, the connection from the gas tank (gas cylinder) to the distribution block must be made using a 10 mm gas pipe.
Please note that the supply from the distribution block to the individual consumers must still be 8 mm in diameter.
