Insulated acrylic glass windows or safety glass windows – they are the first choice when converting a panel van or as replacements for caravans and motorhomes:

Most windows can be fitted with internal roller blinds or pleated blinds, ensuring that you can easily darken the interior or keep out insects even when the window is open.

There are now even hinged windows available that combine scratch-resistant glass on the outside with lightweight acrylic on the inside. These are used primarily in Explorer vehicles but are also increasingly being fitted in self-converted motorhomes.
