If there is a risk of frost or overpressure, the currentless drain valve opens automatically to empty the boiler via the water pipe.

Drain valves can be installed between the water pipe or at its end for emptying.

This enables the hose lines to be emptied completely, which largely eliminates the risk of the water hose freezing and bursting in frosty conditions, for example.
